Tara Joshi as Vidhi Kharbanda
Raised just outside Edmonton, Alberta, Tara Joshi relocated to Toronto to pursue her love of performing. With 17 years of dance training, she intended to focus solely on that field, but instead found herself swept up into the world of acting. Her film credits include the feature film “Nostrum” directed by Jonathan Wright, where she portrays a heroin addict, and “The Metronome”, a short film directed by Ashley Monti.
Her television credits include Shaftsbury Entertainment’s “Overruled!”, CBC’s “Being Erica”, as well as CBC’s “The Border”. Theatre credits include “Not so Dumb/Skin” (Magnus Theatre, Thunder Bay), and “Crazy For You” (Drayton Entertainment). Not one to ignore her first passion, Tara can also be seen dancing in YTV’s “King of The Camp”, the popular “Joe Fresh” commercials, and R&B artist Kreesha Turner’s “Bounce with Me” music video.
When not performing, Tara pursues her business degree at Ryerson University, majoring in Entrepreneurship.
